I like to know a bit about the authors behind the books and posts I read, so here's a little insight into who I am and what I like to blog about . . .
​
My name is Rebekah, and I am married to my amazing husband, Tom. We've been married since March 2020 and live in a historic suburban town in Bedfordshire, although I was born and bred in Plymouth and lived there for the first twenty-seven years of my life.
​
So far, we have had one baby son, who is now in heaven with Jesus.
​
Welcome to 'My Favourite Things'! As the name suggests, my blog will reflect the things I love and enjoy in life.
​
Some of my blogs will be about the books I'm enjoying and book reviews, so if you're an avid reader like me, this will be a great place to exchange thoughts on novels and recommend engaging new reads!
​
I do also sometimes blog about my baby-loss journey, as this has been an integral part of my story, shaping me into the woman I am today.
​
Tom and I have a gorgeous little Mini-Lop Rabbit named Blossom, who became part of our family in June 2023, and we absolutely adore her. Bunnies are one of the cutest animals out there, in my humble opinion, so you will probably find blog posts on rabbits from time to time.
​
As you might have been able to tell from some of the photos on my homepage, I am passionate about travel and seeing new places, especially exotic countries and I love the beach scene! I definitely have an adventurous streak and my list of places to visit is growing frequently, so a lot of my blog posts will also reflect my love of travelling and soaking up new sights and cultures.​
​
In addition to reading, I also have a variety of other hobbies, including painting, creating soaps and other cosmetics that are free from parabens and other nasties and writing. I'm currently writing my first dystopian science fiction novel!
​
Most importantly, I am a Christian and Jesus takes centre stage in my life, and this will be woven throughout my blog posts, as He influences every area and aspect of my life, and I am who I am because of Him.
